As someone who is more prone to write melancholy songs this song is a push for something more upbeat. My main inspirations for this song were a song called “dance all night” by Ryan Adams, the wedding at Cana in the gospel of John, and the determination to write something more upbeat and fun.
Description
This is a song I wrote with a few things in mind. One is I wanted a more upbeat song and something fun. I was listening to Ryan Adams “dance all night” for a bit of inspiration. I was also thinking about the wedding at Cana in the gospel of John and how Jesus supplied a plethora of wine for a marriage ceremony. It was enough to last weeks. This reminds me if God can have fun it’s okay for me too.
